About Craig
Craig S. O'Connell grew up in New Haven, Connecticut where he taught elementary school for 42 years. Craig has been a jazz and reggae DJ, a photographer, oil painter, model railroader, poet, writer, website designer, actor and director. He has won numerous awards for teaching, model railroading, and for his radio news reporting. Craig is currently President of Jazz Haven, Inc. and resides in Hamden, Connecticut.
Education:
Craig has a BA from Fairfield University, MS from Southern Connecticut State University and has done post-grad work at Teachers College, Columbia University and the Harvard School of Education.
